Time management, awareness of your knowledge, spirit of adventure, “warrior” soul, curiosity, and desire to know your limits: this is what you will be asked and what you will be able to experience in the adventure that the 12 rooms of the great home of Tibaldo Bonelli, archaeologist by profession and collector by passion, will allow you to live.

We will offer you a unique experience, a pinch of adrenaline, healthy competition, pleasant discoveries, and curious surprises!

The ArcheoXcape of Baragiano is made up of 12 rooms distributed over approximately 600 m2 and divided thematically into four routes: the rooms of time, the rooms of art, the rooms of the soul, the rooms of life.

Once you enter, you will find yourself in the town square and only after having passed the door of Tibaldo’s house will you be able to begin your unique and memorable adventure.

The rooms of time:
Tibaldo and the mystery of lost numbers

The three settings in this section are dedicated to time understood as a measure of the persistence of changing things and as a rhythmic succession of the phases of life.

Anyway, time is also the framework in which our experience of the world takes place. From numerology to mathematics and geometry, time, be it chronological, indeterminate, absolute, or transcendent, is what gives meaning to our lives, allows us to be present in our events and to have an open and critical gaze on the world.

In this section Tibaldo takes you through the rooms of his daily time, the kitchen, the pantry and the living room, from which you will only exit if you know how to explore the path of the lost numbers that he will have traced for you, solving the puzzles he will propose.

The room of art:
Tibaldo and the enigma of Terpsichore

This is the section dedicated to art, the classical one, and so intended as formal perfection or ideal model.

Tibaldo will let you explore his most precious rooms, hosting his collections. Respectfully, here you will have to walk through the worlds of art that will unfold before your eyes: from the Venus de Milo to the Trojan Horse, fascinated by the great models of classical art and literature. Like Penelope, you will have to weave your path, but to complete your journey you will have to be wary of the song of the Sirens. Like Ulysses, you will have to defend from yourself, your doubts, your impatience, and your desires.

If you know yourself well, if you know your limits, while trusting your strength and intelligence, you will find your way out.

The rooms of the soul:
Tibaldo and the cunning of Sisyphus

After having amused yourself with the logic and rationality of numbers, with the beauty and perfection of the classical world, time has come to measure yourself with myths, gods, and heroes.

You will have to chase the Minotaur to get out of your labyrinth, avoid Cupid’s arrows so as not to fall in love with Psyche, recognize the gods who will stand in your way because they are “the engine of the world”, invoke the protection of Athena and ask for the guile of the goddess “with gleaming eyes”.

You will struggle like Heracles to find the way out but as a victorious hero you will pass through Tibaldo’s bedroom and his spa bath and, entranced by the presence of Dionysus, you will reach the cellar from where, immortal, you will have to exit to move towards the last stage of your journey.

The rooms of life:
Tibaldo and Circe’s spell

If you reach the rooms of life, it is because your destiny has been already written.

You have overcome many challenges and now you will have to prove that your body and mind influence each other harmoniously, because you will have trained them both. Don’t show your Achilles heel and maintain your strength until the end, just like an invincible warrior who doesn’t disdain fear. Don’t be overconfident or disrespectful of your opponent but observe everything with intelligence and cunning. You will pass through the hall of divination and then you will be led into the otherworld, life will present itself to you in its many guises and you will have to free yourself from the burdens it will present to you every time.

If you can resist, overcoming temptations and tricks, you will find your way out… and a new access to your world.

You will experience play and learning,
